The Quell Foundation Set to Host 5th Annual Masquerade Ball Virtually

September 28, 2020

NORTH FALMOUTH, Mass. — The Quell Foundation is proud to announce the 2020 Masquerade “At Home” Edition, presented by US Bank and Zudy, will stream live on November 21, 2020.

Accessible through The Foundation’s Facebook and Youtube page, the evening’s programming will include interviews with healthcare professionals on the front line of COVID-19 and the stigma of taking care of their mental health, students studying to become the next generation of mental health care providers, as well as a special announcement about The Foundation’s upcoming documentary regarding the mental health of first responders.

“There has never been a more critical time to take stock of our mental health as COVID-19, racial disparities, and continued physical distancing pull at our psyche,” said Renee Wilk, Executive Director for The Quell Foundation. “We are eager to show our supporters, new and loyal alike, what The Quell Foundation has in store as we continue to Lift the Mask and Remove the Stigma around mental health.”

Funds raised from this year’s “Masquerade at Home Edition” will support innovative Quell programming including:

  • Launch a new podcast program for healthcare professionals, “Lift the Mask – Voices of Heroes in the Silent Pandemic” with hosts from partner mental health organizations and guests serving on COVID-19’s front lines.
  • Completion of The Foundation’s second documentary, “Lift the Mask – Our Nation’s First Responders.”
  • Provide scholarships to fund a pipeline of future mental health care professionals.

Organizations and individuals interested in sponsorship, buying an ad, or donating an auction item for this event should contact Renee Wilk at RWilk@thequellfoundation.org. Donations to The Quell Foundation can be made at www.thequellfoundation.org.
